Jenny's Mansion visit and tree update
Barbara, Bill and I visited this Mansion in Patagonia, just south of Tuscon. Her friends inherited this place from their great aunt Jenny who was a famous writer.
In her will she wanted to turn it into a place for children to retried and learn about permaculture and taking care of the land.
Jacaratia corumbensis it broke the day i bought it. you can see the dark parts of
the trunk where they had it buried before i repotted it.this tree is in the Papaya family.
luckily its coming back, there is horticultural hope.
Mexican Palo Verde (Parkinsonia aculeata)B let me dig up
my collected Ponderosa Pines and Douglas Furs
this poor little guy fell into a 5 gallon bucket and succumbed to the heat, she is pretty up close.
Dan and eric with the two wolfies!!!
the leadership ring, the benches are made from the native clay and straw
Pepper tree by the back patio
juvenile ducks saved from a feed store who didn't give them water because they made too much of a mess,
they're ducks
shade grow apricots and plums
a key hole garden right before planting
the view towards Nogales, you can see the border fence through their telescope.

Outlook on an LAND Arch
Jenny Rose
----About 21 percent of landscape architects are self-employed—almost 3 times the proportion for all occupations.
----Almost all States require landscape architects to be licensed, which generally requires a degree in landscape architecture from an accredited school, work experience, and a passing score on the Landscape Architect Registration Exam.
----Good job opportunities are expected, but new graduates may face competition for jobs in the largest and most prestigious firms.
