Aug –31st

Woke up this morning and made my usual eggs and vegetables. Ulla( my host mutter calls them (which tebles). It didn’t rain today, but I missed my train because I forgot my lunch at the house. Luckily I went back because I left the door open. Cold soup for lunch. We are going to take a tour around the old city today .tomorrow a bike tour of the Rhine park. Pictures will fallow soon, I have to coordinate internet access, adapter, labtop, and time availability.

the first day of german class was unexpectedly worrisome. Ture---thats pronounce TOORiEERR---made people speak out loud to each other, one at a time, across the room, it was rather hilarious.

Found this Yellow oleander at the local nursery, it had been cut back several times before.



I plan on cutting it back more, perhaps next spring to improve the ramifications on the secondary branches.
